best of all worlds #43

Picked it up a little late but I must say the new IG Culture album is absolutely mind blowing… a full on hiphop and beats album featuring some impressive collaborators most of whom I discovered through this album… it’s good to see IG Culture back in action… so many favorites, I only managed to squeeze in three tracks in this weeks podcast… definitely will drop more in the next edition!

Also in this weeks podcast, re-spin of an old classic, Duncan Powell, “Brake”… music from Suff Daddy, the brilliant Suff Sells album is out on Melting Pot Germany… new music from the Ruff Cats, again on Melting Point… definitely making into my all time favorite labels list… new music from the Hackney Colliery Band and a track from the recent Kutmah album…

Thanks for listening,

Cengiz

best of all worlds #42

Post record shop day, a few great gems in the box… was mainly excited about the 7 inch Visioneers collection I bought on the day… a real eclectic mix of breaks, beats soul and jazz, a few sick vocal tracks as well… Love the cover art, currently retailing at £35, might seem a little expensive but the music is definitely worth it.  I’ve featured a few of my favorites from the collection in this weeks podcast…

Also in this weeks podcast, new music from Hot Flush, the starter track from Beaumont is absolutely wicked… it’s definitely a current favorite of mine on the 140 bpm tip… another James Blake cover from badbadnotgood, music from the Jessica Lauren Four, the new album is out on Freestyle… and finally thanks to If Music, a fantastic record shop day discovery, Cedar Walton, a track from his mind blowing 1980 album titled Sound Scapes on CBS records…

Thanks for listening,

Cengiz
